Visible Mending Workshop Series

Give new love to your favorite torn or distressed clothing items! In this workshop, Hillary of That’s Sew Hillary, blends traditional mending and embroidery tricks to turn throw-away clothes into wearable art. Hillary will teach the fundamentals of sashiko stitching techniques, as participants practice stitches and learn how to apply the knowledge to mend of pair of jeans.

Participants are suggested to bring personal items, such as a pair of jeans, to practice on. All supplies are included, including denim and cotton fabric. No previous skills are required.
